Jen Perdew-Houlk | Niche Affiliate Marketing System Members

Jen Perdew-HoulkAfter 17 years as an operations manager for one of the largest outdoor recreation companies in the Southeast, Jen has now moved into the same role for Niche Affiliate Marketing System. Her years of managing over 200 employees while creating awesome outdoor vacation for over 40,000 people a year, aides in her management of NAMS. Her specialties include logistics, customer service and marketing content creation. And yes to answer your question, she is David Perdew?s daughter. That?s the first question most folks ask.

In the past year, Jen and her husband have made the move to sustainable farming with no pesticides or herbicides and are closely involved in the local food movement.? They co-op with 2 other family farms in their area and together they work with the Chattanooga Farmers Market supplying pasture raised, non GMO, antibiotic and steroid free chicken, turkey, beef, pork and eggs. They also share a commercial kitchen where they produce fresh breads, granola, GMO free lard, syrups, jams, fresh cheeses and yogurt. Approximately 75% of their food comes from either their own farm or farms within 15 miles of their house. By learning to use what they grow, creating a seasonal diet, and making their own staples they have reduced their weekly grocery bill to $50 a week!

Jen has been blogging intermittently for the past year- you can find her at Etowah Road Farms- She is trying to get back into blogging but is trying to balance her love of writing and her new full time position with NAMS!

What Jen thinks about NAMS:

Seven months ago, I had no idea what my Dad did. I kind of knew it was internet related but didn?t really understand the inner workings. Now I totally understand and can?t believe how successful but also how needed this program is!

Coming from years in a small business background, I know how things work. You do everything you can by yourself because of financial limitations and as the company grows you just start doing more yourself because you?re so scared to move to the next level. But really that?s not the best practice to grow your business.

What I love the most about NAMS is it helps folks understand that they ARE a small business owner even if they have one employee. There are fundamental business practices that apply to every business- even if it?s an internet business. So yes you learn important lessons from NAMS about marketing, content and product creation, list building and all that good stuff but you also get a really good fundamental background on business as well. AND you have a ton of resources available. There is no excuse to say ?I didn?t know who to contact for help.? There?s no room for embarrassment-every business owner needs help at some point in time and there are hundreds of people at NAMS and MyNAMS that want to see you succeed! Take advantage of their knowledge and experience too!
