Marketing Communications Manager - Blinkpipe

About us

BlinkPipe was founded to make video conferencing as natural and convenient as making a phone call. We?re usability fanatics who understand that it?s not picture quality that?s holding video conferencing back any more ? it?s a user-experience that ranges from mild inconvenience through to tear-your-hair-out exasperation.

We launched PhoneCamHD this year. It?s a video conferencing system unlike any other ? a camera that joins up your existing conference phone and meeting room TV so that ordinary phone calls automatically become video calls. Our customers tell us it?s the easiest video calling they?ve ever experienced. We?re now growing our team to meet demand.

This is your chance to join a Cambridge tech start up at a really exciting time and make your mark on a global industry.

The role

As a key member of our small commercial team you?ll be a spokesperson for everything BlinkPipe stands for, able to clearly articulate our value proposition to any given audience. You?ll manage the relationship with our PR agency, KISS communications. Together you?ll work social media, blogs, and print media to message that BlinkPipe makes business grade video conferencing unbelievably easy and our subscription pricing takes away all the risk.

You?ll take ownership of www.blinkpipe.com ? testing it on users and using the feedback to hone our messaging. Expect to commission a 60 second demo video as an early project for the web site. You?ll also develop new sales collateral for our channel partners and for direct sales to major customers. Especially important will be capturing testimonials that show how different customer segments are getting value from BlinkPipe video calling. On top of all of that you will be responsible for our CRM system: growing and maintaining our customer database.

If you think that?s worth getting out of bed for we?d like to hear from you. No forms, just send a CV and a covering email to dave@blinkpipe.com.
