The Rowan County Veterans Council will coordinate the annual Veterans Day Parade on Monday, Nov. 12, starting at the Hefner VA Medical Center and continuing through downtown Salisbury.

The parade will start at 1 p.m. at the VA, then reassemble and line up at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church on South Main Street, with additional vehicles added at Harrison Street by 1:30 p.m. The parade will start at 2:30 and end at Kerr Street.

The organizers request all participants be on location by 12:30 p.m. to work on the lineup. The council wants to know by Nov. 3 what groups will take part.
